Here’s our schedule for Southaven (June 4-6):

Friday, 6/4 @ 9:00pm – Union County Ballers vs Pacific Thunder (Complex C, Field #13)
Saturday, 6/5 @ 1:00pm – Pacific Thunder vs Cleveland Cobras (Complex C, Field #13)

Then all 11 teams will be seeded and bracket play begins. The bottom 6 seeds will play Saturday night at either 5pm or 7pm. The winners of those games will advance to play the top 5 seeds on Sunday starting at Noon. Games continue on Sunday thru the championship game at 6:30pm.

County Tournament Schedule

Here’s our schedule for the County Tournament. 10 of our 13 teams in National Blue are in this. All games are at Ballwin, Fields #2 or #3.

4/12 (Mon) vs Meier @ 8pm (Ballwin #2)
4/14 (Wed) vs Bollinger @ 8pm (Ballwin #2)
4/17 (Sat) vs Andrzejewski @ 10am (Ballwin #2)

Then we are seeded and start bracket play…this begins 4/17 (Sat) at 6pm and runs all day Sunday, but our game time will depend on where we end up seeded after the first three games.

Apr 24-25 >> St. James Tournament ($125 – no gate fees this year)

Jun 4-6 >> School’s Out Celebration Tournament (AA) @ Southaven, MS ($275 + gate fees + travel)
Jun 18-20 >> 1st Annual Wooden Bat Tournament @ Fenton ($350)

Jul 17-19 >> 13U Show-Me Games ($325) ** TBD…Will decide on this around May **

TBD >> River City Rascals Dream Team night (more info on this in a few weeks)

TBD >> 2nd Annual Thunder Throwdown! (parents vs players tennis-ball game)

Registration for the 2010 baseball, softball and T-Ball season will be:

Saturday, January 9 from 9am-3pm
Sunday, January 10 from 12pm-3pm
Saturday, January 16 from 9am-3pm
Sunday, January 17 from 12pm-3pm

Registration will be held in the Middle School Cafeteria.

T-BALL 1 (5 yrs old or starting K in 2010) $50.00
T-BALL 2 (6 yrs old) $ 50.00

1 CHILD (8u – 14u) $ 95.00

A huge congratulations to the Thunder on a fantastic season this year! Their performance this year in league play was absolutely amazing. 9 wins, 3 losses… and the statistics are scary… 165 runs scored and only 79 runs allowed (a differential of 86). Some dominating numbers!

I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of watching them work hard and mature into fantastic ball players and fine young men!

Next year, National Blue… bring it on!

Sonic Snowden Grove Classic (Southaven, MS)

Here’s our initial schedule for pool play at Southaven next weekend. Keep in mind there are 24 teams in the tournament; after our two pool games we will be seeded and the championship bracket begins – which we’ll play until we lose.

Fri, June 12 @ 7:15pm vs Senatobia Diamond Dawgs (Complex C/Field 10)
Sat, June 13 @ 8:00am vs North MS Razors (Complex B/Field 6)

The championship bracket games start at 3pm on Saturday and run thru the championship game at 5pm on Sunday.

Win or lose, we’re gonna play ball, swim, eat, and have a fun weekend!

Game 1 – Sat 10am vs Rolla Piranhas
..if we win…Game 2 – Sat 4pm vs St James or Steelville (Earney)
..if we lose…Game 2 – Sat 6pm vs St James or Steelville (Earney)

As long as we win one of the first two, our third game will be for either 5th, 3rd, or 1st:
5th – Sun Noon
3rd – Sun 2pm
1st – Sun 4pm (this is not a double elimination game)

We are in the process of finalizing our room reservations for the Southaven, MS tournament. We’ve got a great rate of $69/night blocked for Friday and Saturday night at the Courtyard Marriott in Memphis.

There are already 23 teams registered for this tournament in our division – so should be a crazy weekend of baseball!!
